Our Founder

Our founder Manish Shroff has been involved and working in the development sector for close to two decades and has a rich experience of working with various International and National organizations. Throughout these years, he has spearheaded many socially-oriented programs, such as establishing a primary and secondary school, a door-to-door school, schools for children of construction workers, and promoting rural development. He is associated with Campaign Against Child Labour (CACL) a nationwide network of more than 3000 NGOs since 2001 and is current convener of Maharashtra Chapter, driving the Child labour advocacy in the state, which includes working with the government on CLPRA, JJA and RTE Policies. Member of TASK force constituted under the act to rescue and rehabilitate child labour in Pune district. He is also associated with Action For the Rights of Child (ARC) a network of 30+ NGO working for child rights in Pune. During his second stint as executive director of a International Organization he successfully planned and executed projects such as centres for street children, Shelter home for children, Crèches and day centres for children at construction sites, community development projects such as support classes, Nutrition program, Health related activities, community kitchen, women empowerment based projects, information centres and IT program for children, fund raising through corporate, social media, individuals and through events. Recently he has been made member of National Action Core Group (NACG) India Initiative and unit of South Asia Initiative for Violence Against Children (SAIVAC), founded by the SAARC countries. He has also been part of a government committee formed in 2012 to work on policy of institutional care and in 2013-2014 was on the advisory council of World CSR Congress.
